HELPING TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF HOMELESSNESS

At Hope House Essex, we seek to help break the cycle of homelessness by the provision of temporary supported accommodation for homeless adults.

More about us

Who we are

We are a Braintree based charity seeking to break the cycle of homelessness by the provision of temporary accommodation for homeless adults.

Who we help

We help people in the local community who find themselves without somewhere to live.

How we are funded

We are funded by donations from the local community, businesses and by grants. We receive no government funding.

Hope House Community

We strive to make sure when residents move on from our houses, they continue to be supported. Every person helped by us joins our Hope House Community.

weekly events

Our community is invited to join us for dinner cooked by our volunteers every week and provides a safe space to engage with others and support staff.

Supported by you

We have been grateful to receive donations and funding to help us support our wider community and we are always looking for more funds to help us achieve our goals.

We are committed to

Helping break THE CYCLE OF HOMELESSNESS.

We currently have two mortgaged properties that can house a maximum of 8 residents in individual rooms. We offer personalised care and support to our residents by addressing the underlying issues that have led to homelessness.

If you are homeless

We receive new applications almost on a daily basis, and as we are only able to accommodate a small number of people, we are almost always full.
